SLIPKNOT Drummer Cancels MURDERDOLLS Dates Due To Family Emergency
November 27, 2002Due to a serious illness in the family, SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison was forced to leave the ongoing MURDERDOLLS U.S. tour and fly back home to Des Moines, Iowa to be with his loved ones.
As a result, the following MURDERDOLLS tour dates have been cancelled:
Nov. 24 – Cleveland, OH
Nov. 26 - Grand Rapids, MI
Nov. 27 – Detroit, MI
Nov. 30 – Madison, WI
The group's next gig will take place on Sunday, Dec. 1 at Metro in Chicago, Illinois.
In other news, MURDERDOLLS — who also feature in their ranks singer Wednesday 13 (formerly of North Carolina horror-metal outfit FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS FROM PLANET 13),ex-DOPE guitarist Acey Slade, bassist Erik Griffin, and drummer Ben Graves — have changed the venue for their upcoming London date (Dec. 7) from the Mean Fiddler to The Forum.
